Why Innate Chiropractic?

Is your body and musculoskeletal system struggling to function at its best? Have you been suffering for months or even years and have undergone every scan, procedure and drug without any improvement?

Innate Chiropractic treats people of all ages and for a variety of different reasons. The one thing we focus on across every patient – is improving the health and function of your spine from the ground up and ultimately how your body functions. Our clinic works with an underlying belief of the following;

• Identifying biomechanical faults and imbalances starting from the feet
• Detecting joints of the spine that lack normal mobility, affecting nervous system and neurological function
• Utilising methods, techniques and products as part of chiropractic treatment to restore joint mobility, structure and biomechanical balance to reduce pain and pressure on the neurological tissue, and ultimately to improve function.
• Complete holistic and wellbeing care to improve your musculoskeletal system and contribute to everyday health and quality of life – mobility products, nutritional supplements, laser therapy and lifestyle recommendations

Our patients receive thorough individual care. The structure of your body and your lifestyle is unique to you, just like your finger print, there is no structure identical to another. This is why we take the time to understand your biomechanics, specific lifestyle and needs.

What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a healthcare profession concerned with the diagnosis, management and prevention of biomechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, and the effects of these disorders on the function of the nervous system and general health. Chiropractic is a drug and surgery free treatment modality, which focuses on the detection of joints lacking normal mobility, having abnormal and reduced joint motion, within the joints of the spine primarily, as well as other joints of the body.

What is a Chiropractic Adjustment?

Innate Chiropractic has an emphasis on providing the chiropractic adjustment. This is a procedure used by chiropractors that utilises controlled force, leverage, direction, amplitude and velocity, which is applied to specific joints and adjacent tissue. Chiropractors commonly use such procedures to influence joint and neurophysiological function.

The chiropractic adjustment is targeted to the joints of the spine and other joints of the body that have joint restriction, resulting in that joint not being able to move through its normal range of movement. The chiropractor aims to restore and maintain joint motion, helping to improve joint health and function, thus contributing to a healthy musculoskeletal system.

Chiropractic adjustments can be made by the chiropractor’s hands, specialised chiropractic instruments and chiropractic tables allowing the ability to tailor for patient preference, presenting conditions and contraindications if present.
